Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- jar mustard - 1 oz
- macaroni, cooked - 1/2 lb
- small head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
- Dressing:3 eggs
- to 3 cans kidney beans, rinsed and well drained - 2 item
How to make kidney bean salad:
Dressing:3 eggs1 1/2 c. sugar5 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. vinegar1 (9 oz.) jar mustard Beat eggs well until frothy. Add sugar, beating well. Add butter and vinegar; cook until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add mustard. Pour over salad ingredients, mix and serve.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Beans.
