Kentucky pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- dark brown sugar - 1 c
- melted butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- white corn syrup - 1 c
- shelled pecans
- whole eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- 8-inch unbaked pie crusts or 1 9-inch crust - 2 item
How to make kentucky pecan pie:
Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add eggs and mix. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Sprinkle pecans over the entire top. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes. When cool, top with Cool Whip if desired or serve with ice cream. If using two pie crusts, add a few more pecans.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
