Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 5 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- shredded coconut - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- Crisco
- pecans - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- stick Blue Bonnet margarine - 1 item
How to make japanese pie:
Filling:1 c. sugar1/2 c. shredded coconut1/2 c. pecans1 stick Blue Bonnet margarine2 eggs, beaten1/2 c. raisins1 tsp. vinegar Crust: Sift flour; blend in shortening. Add beaten egg and vinegar; mix. Add salt, sugar and water as needed. Mix with fork until mixture forms a ball. Roll out.Filling: Melt margarine; add sugar and beaten eggs. Add all other ingredients. Fill pie crust. Top with lattice crust. Bake at 325° for 40 to 60 minutes or until done.
