Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- buttermilk - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- blackberry jam - 1 c
- chopped nuts walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make jam cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream margarine and brown sugar together. Add eggs and buttermilk. Sift flour and add to baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Beat into creamed mixture. Fold in jam and nuts. Grease and flour 9-inch tube pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Grains.
