  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • confectioners sugar - 3 c
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp
  • applesauce
  • blackberry jam - 1 c

How to make jam cake:

Frosting:1 1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. shortening4 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. milk1/2 tsp. salt3 c. confectioners sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs; mix and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and spices together. Add to butter mixture. Add jam and applesauce; mix well.

Pour into a greased Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Let cake cool and frost.
