Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- confectioners sugar - 3 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- applesauce
- blackberry jam - 1 c
How to make jam cake:
Frosting:1 1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. shortening4 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. milk1/2 tsp. salt3 c. confectioners sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs; mix and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and spices together. Add to butter mixture. Add jam and applesauce; mix well.Pour into a greased Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Let cake cool and frost.
