Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 4 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • all-purpose flour - 4 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • white sugar - 2 c
  • jam - 1 c
  • applesauce - 3 c
  • Karo syrup - 1/2 c
  • dates - 1 c
  • Mix remaining ingredients together in separate bowl

How to make jam cake:

Mix flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves together. Mix remaining ingredients together in separate bowl. Slowly add flour mixture. Bake in three 9-inch round cake pans at 350° until done. Ice with Caramel Icing.For Caramel Icing:1 box brown
