Indian fry bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- milk or water - 2/3 c
How to make indian fry bread:
Mix all ingredients to form a very sticky dough. Knead in additional flour as needed. Roll or pat out circles of dough 1/4-inch thick and about 6-inches wide. Heat oil until hot. Fry quickly, turning once. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Native american.
