  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • green onions, sliced - 5 item
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • tomato sauce - 16 oz
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
  • narrow egg noodles, cooked - 8 oz

How to make husband's delight:

Brown beef and drain fat. Add garlic, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add onions; simmer 5 more minutes. Mix cream cheese and sour cream. Fill casserole dish with alternating layers of meat and noodle mixture and cream cheese and sour cream mixture. Spread Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350° until hot (approximately 20 to 25 minutes).
