Chicken supreme



  • butter - 1/4 c
  • dairy sour cream
  • slices bacon - 8 item
  • cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
  • chicken breast, skinned and deboned - 1 item
  • to 8 slices chopped beef - 6 item
  • fresh mushrooms or parsley - 1 item

How to make chicken supreme:

Heat bacon in oven only until limp. Place chicken breasts in casserole dish. Chop bacon and beef over chicken. Mix sour cream and soup and pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, in oven at only 200° for 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Saute mushrooms in butter at medium temperature for about 8 minutes. Scatter mushrooms over top of chicken. Sprinkle parsley over all.

Note: You can use enough chicken pieces to accomodate your guests. This can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
