Hungarian pork and sauerkraut goulash
Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- chopped onions - 2 c
- caraway seed - 1 tsp
- dill weed - 1 tsp
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- 11 oz - 1 lb
- paprika or to taste - 1/2 Tbsp
- pork or ham, cubed - 2 lb
How to make hungarian pork and sauerkraut goulash:
Saute onion and garlic in small amount of oil. Stir in dill weed and caraway seed. Add boiling water, bouillon and pork cubes. Mix in sauerkraut. Simmer 1 to 2 hours until pork is tender. (If desired, add 2 cups sour cream.) Serve with mashed potatoRecipe categories: Meat, Pork, Hungarian.
