Ingredients/Components

  • boiling water - 1/2 c
  • chopped onions - 2 c
  • caraway seed - 1 tsp
  • dill weed - 1 tsp
  • beef bouillon cube - 1 item
  • clove minced garlic - 1 item
  • 11 oz - 1 lb
  • paprika or to taste - 1/2 Tbsp
  • pork or ham, cubed - 2 lb

How to make hungarian pork and sauerkraut goulash:

Saute onion and garlic in small amount of oil. Stir in dill weed and caraway seed. Add boiling water, bouillon and pork cubes. Mix in sauerkraut. Simmer 1 to 2 hours until pork is tender. (If desired, add 2 cups sour cream.) Serve with mashed potato
