Hot pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 c
- vinegar
- chopped green peppers
- jalapeno peppers - 1/4 c
- bottle Certo - 1 oz
How to make hot pepper jelly:
Mix peppers, sugar and vinegar. Bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes. Add Certo, and boil one minute more. Remove from heat and let set 5 minutes; strain. Add few drops food coloring. Pour into hot sterilized jelly jars. Yields 6 (8 ounce) jars. Serve with cream cheese and crackers.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
