Hot fudge pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sifted flour - 1 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- melted shortening - 2 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- hot water
How to make hot fudge pudding:
Sift flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk and melted shortening, stirring well. Blend in chopped nuts. Spread in a 9-inch square pan or a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Sprinkle over entire batter and cover with hot water. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve hot with ice cream.Note: We often omit cocoa. It's delicious!
