Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- sliced almonds - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- Ritz crackers, crushed - 2 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- onion, chopped fine - 1 2
- sliced mushrooms optional - 2 c
- cans sliced water chestnuts - 2 item
- chicken, deboned and cubed - 1 item
- instant cooked rice - 2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix together all ingredients, except butter, crackers and almonds. Place chicken mixture in casserole dish. Mix together crackers, butter and almonds. Pour over casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
