Ingredients/Components
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- dark brown sugar - 1 lb
- cube butter not oleo - 1 item
- each cinnamon, ground cloves, ground nutmeg - 1/4 1/2
How to make hot buttered rum:
Cream all ingredients. Store in covered container, no need to refrigerate.Directions for 1 cup: Place 1 heaping teaspoonful of mixture in a cup; add 1 1/2 jiggers of rum; fill the cup with boiling water. Stir and enjoy. This is really wonderful on those cold nights when we all sit around the fireplace.
