Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- beer - 1 c
- thinly sliced onions - 4 c
- oleo or olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- beef bouillon granular or cubes - 4 c
How to make onion soup:
Cook onions in oil until golden. Add flour; stir and add bouillon slowly. Simmer 20 minutes. Add beer and cook on low an additional 10 minutes. Serve with shredded Swiss cheese and toasted bread sticks.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low cholesterol, Soups & stews.
