Hot buttered apple rum
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- rum - 1 1
- whole cloves - 1 tsp
- apple juice - 7 c
- allspice whole - 1 tsp
- inches cinnamon stick, broken - 4 item
How to make hot buttered apple rum:
Tie spices in a spice bag or cheesecloth. In a 3 1/2 or larger crock-pot, put spice bag, apple juice, rum and sugar. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 7 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Discard spice bag. Ladle hot punch into cups. Float about 1/2 teaspoon of butter atop each serving. Makes 10 (6-ounce) servings.Recipe categories: Fruit, Apple, Drinks.
