Honey cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• soda - 2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• honey - 1/4 c
• tsp cinnamon - 1/2 item
• tsp nutmeg - 1/2 item
• c butter or margarine - 3/4 item

How to make honey cookies:

Sift together first 4 ingredients. Melt margarine and cool. Add 1 cup sugar, beat well. Add egg; beat. Add honey. Stir in dry ingredients. Roll into a ball about the size of a small hickory nut. Mix last 3 ingredients together and roll balls into mixture. Bake at 350° about 8 - 10 minutes. They will flatten as they bake.
