sugar - 1/2 c
cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 4 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
flour - 8 c
baking soda - 2 tsp
shortening - 1 c
honey - 1 c
cold coffee or 1 c - 1 c

How to make honey cookies:

Cream shortening, sugar and honey. Add eggs, coffee, vanilla and dry ingredients. Mix well. Cover and chill overnight.

Roll out dough and cut into shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, and bake about 10 minutes at 375°. Cookies may be frosted when cool. Yields about 7 dozen.
