Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • water - 1 Tbsp
  • soda - 3/4 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 3/4 c
  • powdered sugar
  • honey - 1/4 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • mayo - 2 Tbsp
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c

How to make honey bars:

Icing:1 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. mayo1 Tbsp. water1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix together oil, honey, sugar and egg with spoon. Add flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and pecans to mixture and stir. Bake at 350° in a 9 x 13-inch cookie sheet for 15 minutes. While hot, drizzle icing over cookie bars and let cool, then cut into squares.
