Pecan sandies

Ingredients/Components

• butter - 1 c
• sugar - 1/3 c
• water - 2 tsp
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make pecan sandies:

Cream the butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour, salt and nuts. Chill for 4 hours. Shape into crescents or fingers, using about 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.
