Homemade vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 lb
- can corn - 1 item
- can green beans - 1 item
- beef bouillon cubes - 5 item
- box frozen peas - 1 item
- medium onions, cut up - 2 item
- can Great Northern beans - 1 item
- large can tomato juice - 1 item
- celery stalks, cut up - 2 item
- large carrots, cut up - 2 item
- box frozen baby lima beans - 1 item
- large can whole tomatoes, cut up - 1 item
- to 4 medium potatoes, cut up - 3 item
How to make homemade vegetable soup:
In a very large pot, add beef and beef cubes to one half pot of water. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until meat is tender. Add water as needed. When meat is tender, add onions, celery, carrots and tomatoes. Cook 1 hour. Add water, if needed. After 1 hour, add tomato juice, potatoes and rest of vegetables. Add salt and pepper.
