  • pkg - 1 lb
  • can corn - 1 item
  • can green beans - 1 item
  • beef bouillon cubes - 5 item
  • box frozen peas - 1 item
  • medium onions, cut up - 2 item
  • can Great Northern beans - 1 item
  • large can tomato juice - 1 item
  • celery stalks, cut up - 2 item
  • large carrots, cut up - 2 item
  • box frozen baby lima beans - 1 item
  • large can whole tomatoes, cut up - 1 item
  • to 4 medium potatoes, cut up - 3 item

How to make homemade vegetable soup:

In a very large pot, add beef and beef cubes to one half pot of water. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until meat is tender. Add water as needed. When meat is tender, add onions, celery, carrots and tomatoes. Cook 1 hour. Add water, if needed. After 1 hour, add tomato juice, potatoes and rest of vegetables. Add salt and pepper. Cook until done. Feeds a large family.
