Homemade spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- oregano
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- cans tomato paste - 4 oz
- medium onions - 6 item
- bay leaves - 3 item
- dried parsley - 1 Tbsp
- hot peppers - 3 item
- sweet peppers - 3 item
- peck tomatoes, peeled - 1 item
How to make homemade spaghetti sauce:
Finely chop first 5 ingredients in food processor. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 1 1/2 hours or until thick. Hot pack (remove bay leaves before canning).Hint: Squeeze tomatoes when peeling to remove some of seeds and water.
