Homemade ice cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 4 item
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
- large can Pet milk - 1 item
- homogenized milk enough to finish filling the freezer container - 1/2 gal
How to make homemade ice cream:
Line a Pyrex pie pan or round Corning Ware dish with large size tortilla round. Pour in a can of peaches, cherries, plums or blackberries, sweeten to taste. Tear the second tortilla round into pieces and stick down into fruit. Pat generously with butter. Cut strips from another tortilla and lay on top. Sprinkle with sugar and again pat generously with margarine. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Low sodium.
