Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomato juice - 1 c
- chopped bell pepper - 1/4 c
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- dash of celery salt - 1 item
- oregano leaves - 1 tsp
- hamburger, browned and drained - 3 lb
- cans chili beans, blended or mashed - 3 item
How to make homemade chili:
Cook all ingredients, except for beans, for 45 minutes. Add chili beans and stir often, cooking for 20 minutes more.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beans, Chili.
