- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- shortening, melted
- coarsely chopped pecans - 1 c
How to make holiday pecan pie:
Combine first 7 ingredients; beat well. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350° and continue to bake for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
