Hillbilly cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 3/4 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• water - 1 c
• coconut - 1/2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• raisins - 1 c
• pecans - 1/2 c
• butter, melted
• allspice - 1/2 tsp
• Pet milk - 3 Tbsp
• apple, grated - 1 item
• watermelon preserves or other preserves - 1/2 c

How to make hillbilly cake:

Topping:1/2 c. butter, melted3/4 c. brown sugar3 Tbsp. Pet milk1 Tbsp. flour1 c. pecans1/2 c. coconut Boil together sugar (white), raisins, water, 1/2 cup butter and preserves. Mix together 2 cups flour, soda, cinnamon, allspice and 1/2 cup pecans. Pour hot mixture into flour mixture. Add grated apple and mix well. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Ice with topping and bake 20 minutes longer.

Topping: Mix together melted butter, brown sugar, Pet milk, flour and coconut. Pour over cake.
