sugar - 1 c
cinnamon - 1 tsp
vanilla - 1 tsp
flour - 2 c
water - 1 c
coconut - 1/2 c
oil - 1/2 c
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
raisins - 1 c
oleo - 1/2 c
cream or Pet milk - 3 Tbsp
Add to this flour, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla

How to make hillbilly cake:

Boil sugar, raisins and water together for 5 minutes; cool. Add to this flour, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.Icing:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. coconut1/2 c. oleo3 Tbsp. cream or Pet milk Mix ingredients; do not boil. Spread on top of cake while hot. Place in broiler for 2 or 3 minutes.
