  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • 8 oz
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • 4 oz - 1 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 3/4
  • black pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • medium tomato, chopped - 1 item
  • frozen hash browns - 4 c

How to make hearty beef and potato casserole:

Place potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes. Brown ground beef. Drain. Combine soup, milk, half the cheese and seasonings. Add the ground beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of Durkee onions and tomato. Pour onto potatoes. Bake, covered, at 400° for 20 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes longer. Preparation time: 15 minutes. Serves 6.
