Hearty beef and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/3 c
- 8 oz
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- 4 oz - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of celery soup - 1 3/4
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- medium tomato, chopped - 1 item
- frozen hash browns - 4 c
How to make hearty beef and potato casserole:
Place potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes. Brown ground beef. Drain. Combine soup, milk, half the cheese and seasonings. Add the ground beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of Durkee onions and tomato. Pour onto potatoes. Bake, covered, at 400° for 20 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes longer. Preparation time: 15 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
