Hearty beef and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can condensed cream of celery soup - 1 item
- ground beef, browned and drained - 1 lb
- 15 oz - 4 c
- frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed - 1 (10
- cans French fried onions - 2 item
How to make hearty beef and potato casserole:
Place potatoes on bottom and sides of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Mix together beef, broccoli and 1 can onions. Spread over potato shell. Combine soup, milk, 1/2 cheese and seasonings in small saucepan; heat. Pour over beef mixture. Bake, covered, for 20 minutes at 400°. Top with 1 can onions and remaining cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and onions are brown, approximately 15 minutes. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
