How to make hawaiian spaghetti:
Simmer onion in oil until it turns yellow. Take out onion and put in small bowl. In another bowl, add hamburger, egg, salt, pepper and 3 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese. Mix together. Make into balls, drop in oil and brown. In a large pan, empty tomato juice, sugar, a little more salt and pepper, a little more Parmesan cheese and the garlic. Add simmered onions and browned meat balls. Let simmer for about 1 hour. Add catsup and pizza sauce. Simmer for 1 more hour. Makes enough sauce for 1 box of spaghetti. (This sauce freezes well, also.)Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
