Hawaiian chicken
Ingredients/Components
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- can pineapple chunks - 1 1/2
- deboned chicken - 3 lb
- toasted whole or sliced almonds - 1/2 c
How to make hawaiian chicken:
Drain pineapple; mix juice, brown sugar and Worcestershire to make marinade. Place chicken pieces in 13 x 9-inch glass baking pan; pour marinade over chicken and let stand 3 to 4 hours, turning chicken occasionally. Remove about 1/2 to 3/4 cup marinade. Bake in oven at 350° about 1 hour, basting often. Turn oven to 375°; add pineapple chunks and bake 7 to 10 minutes until chunks are glazed. Add toasted almonds.
