Hash brown quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- 4 oz - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- green pepper, diced - 1/4 c
- frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed - 3 c
- fully cooked ham, diced - 1 c
How to make hash brown quiche:
Preheat oven to 425°. Press hash brown potatoes between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Press into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven.Reduce heat to 350°. In a bowl, combine the ham, cheese and pepper. Spoon over the crust.
In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over ham and cheese mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before cutting. Yield: 6 servings.
