  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
  • raisins optional - 1/2 c
  • hot milk - 2 tsp
  • chopped apples - 4 c
  • Let stand one hour; stir occasionally

How to make harvest cake:

Mix chopped apples and sugar. Let stand one hour; stir occasionally. Add salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda and walnuts. Mix. Add eggs and oil; mix. Stir in flour and mix well. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.Glaze:1/2 c. powdered sugar2 tsp. hot milk1/4 tsp. vanilla Mix together and spread over cooled cake.
