Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- minced onion - 1 tsp
- sliced beets - 3 c
How to make harvard beets:
Blend sugar, salt and cornstarch. Heat. Add vinegar. Mix. Cook on low heat until smooth; stir constantly. Add butter, onion and beets. Let heat for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
