Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • water - 1/3 c
  • white Karo syrup
  • food color - 1 item
  • flavor oil - 1/2 tsp

How to make hard candy:

Boil sugar, water and syrup to hard crack stage (300°). Remove from heat and add flavoring and coloring. Pour into buttered 9 x 11-inch pan to cool. Break into pieces.
