- water - 1/4 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- white Karo syrup - 2/3 c
How to make hard candy:
Cook to 300 degrees. DO NOT STIR! Add: 1/2 t. oil, flavoring and food coloring as desired. Quickly stir until well mixed. Pour on buttered pan. Crack with hammer. May roll in powdered sugar if desired.Recipe categories: For large groups, < 30 mins, Food gift.
