Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 pkg
- oregano - 1 tsp
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cocktail rye bread - 3 pkg
- box Velveeta cheese, cubed - 2 lb
- milk sausage - 1 pkg
How to make hanky pankies:
In large pan, brown the beef and sausage. Drain the grease. Add oregano and red pepper; stir the ingredients in the pan well.Over low heat, add cheese, stirring constantly, until melted. Spoon mixture immediately onto small rye bread. Freeze individually on cookie sheets.
To serve: Preheat oven to 350°. Heat Hanky Pankies for 8 to 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve warm from the oven.
