- sugar - 1 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hamburger - 1 lb
- carrots - 2 item
- potatoes - 2 item
- ribs celery - 2 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- onions - 2 item
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 item
- zucchini - 3 item
- cans consomme - 2 item
How to make hamburger soup:
Brown hamburger in oil. Shred all vegetables in food processor. Saute in butter, then add to meat. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 2 to 3 hours. Cool; take off heat. Freezes very well.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Clear soup, Main dish.
