Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- lean ground beef
- barley - 8 Tbsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- lentils - 1/2 c
- carrots, chopped fine - 4 item
- cans consomme - 3 item
- sticks celery, chopped fine - 3 item
How to make hamburger soup:
Brown meat and onion. Drain well. Combine all ingredients in large pot. Simmer, covered, at least 2 hours or all day in crock-pot. Serves 10. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Clear soup, Main dish.
