Ingredients/Components

  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • cream cheese - 3 oz
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • green onions, finely chopped - 6 item
  • egg noodles - 5 6
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/2 c

How to make hamburger casserole:

Brown meat in butter. Add remaining ingredients, except noodles and cheese; simmer.

Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions; drain and add to meat mixture. Top with cheese and bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes, or until heated through. Serves 6.
