Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • water - 1/3 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 oz
  • oregano leaves - 1 tsp
  • lasagne noodles, cooked and drained - 8 oz
  • Velveeta cheese, thinly sliced - 1/2 lb

How to make lasagne:

Brown meat; drain. Add onions; cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasoning. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes. In an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish, layer half the noodles, then half the meat sauce, then half the Mozzarella cheese, then half the Velveeta and half the Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8.
