Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • flour - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • large onion, minced - 1 item
  • hamburg - 1 lb
  • can drained mushrooms fresh are better, but not necessary - 1 item

How to make hamburg stroganoff:

Saute onion and garlic in margarine until soft. Add hamburg and fry. Toss in a little flour. Add mushrooms and soup; simmer 5 minutes. Add sour cream and heat. Do not boil! Serve on rice. Will serve 8 people (a good meat stretcher!).
