Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- elbow macaroni - 8 oz
- diced cheese - 2 c
- cooked ham, diced - 2 c
How to make ham and cheese casserole:
Boil macaroni in saucepan until tender; drain. Melt cheese with milk in saucepan. Stir in flour, mixed with a little water. Cook until thick. Add salt, pepper and onion. In greased casserole, layer macaroni, cheese sauce and ham. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Cheese, Main dish, Casseroles.
