Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- green tomatoes, sliced - 4 item
How to make green tomato casserole:
I use more onions and cheese. Put half of tomatoes and onion slices in greased casserole. Add salt, pepper and half of cheese. Repeat layers. Dot with butter and put cheese on top. Cover and bake at 400° for 1 hour. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
