Ingredients/Components
- salt
- boiling water - 4 c
- oleo or butter - 6 Tbsp
- minced parsley - 1/4 c
- uncooked rice - 2 c
- chopped, blanched almonds - 1 c
How to make green rice:
Combine rice, water, salt and oleo and cook in tightly covered saucepan over low heat for 30 minutes without removing cover. Add parsley and almonds and toss lightly with a fork. Good with chicken or roast gravy. Serves 8.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
