Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- American cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- cans French-style green beans - 2 item
- corn bread crumbs - 2 c
- can cream of chicken soup, mixed with 1 can water - 1 item
- strips crispy fried bacon - 10 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Put 1 can drained beans in casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the onion and grated cheese. Add 1/2 of the soup mixture. Repeat with 2nd can of green beans and remaining onion, grated cheese and soup mixture. Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 400°. Afterwards, cover with bread crumbs and chopped bacon.
