Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- crushed cornflakes - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 item
- cans French-style green beans, drained - 2 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Blend together butter, dash of pepper, flour, sugar and salt. To this mixture, add chopped onion and sour cream. Put 2 well drained cans French-style green beans in a buttered baking dish. Cover with sour cream mixture. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Cover with crushed cornflakes and bake 20 minutes at 400°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
