Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1/4 c
  • chopped dates - 1/4 c
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • honey - 1 c
  • sesame seed - 1 c
  • sunflower seeds - 1 c
  • wheat germ - 1 c
  • uncooked rolled oats - 3 4
  • flour soy or wheat - 1/4 c

How to make granola:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheet. In large bowl mix oats, seeds, wheat germ and flour. In large measuring cup mix honey, oil and water; heat in microwave just until warm. Add vanilla to liquid. Mix liquid into bowl with oat mixture. Spread in pan (cookie sheet). Bake 20 minutes or until brown. Add dates and coconut. Store in covered container; if there's any left. Makes 7 cups.
