Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/8 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- raisins - 2/3 c
- oatmeal - 2 c
- sesame seed - 1/4 c
- sunflower seeds - 1/2 c
- wheat germ
- bran - 1 c
How to make granola:
Mix first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix brown sugar, oil and water together and pour over dry ingredients. Mix to coat evenly.Spread on cookie sheet. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes or so to brown evenly. Add raisins or other dried fruits when the granola comes out of the oven.
One-third to one-half cup Granola with milk makes a delicious and nutritious breakfast or snack. Can be enjoyed dry also. Store in airtight container.
