Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 8 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- potato water - 1 c
- mashed potatoes, cooled - 1 c
How to make grandma's rolls:
Mix potatoes, sugar and salt in a bowl, then add in this order: beaten eggs, potato water and yeast water. Mix. Cream the shortening and flour; add. Mix to form a soft dough.
